2008 Toyota Yaris airbag light ON

Hello. 2008 Toyota Yaris, 144K miles. Just changed a burnt-out headlight and reset the "MAINT REQ'D" light (oil was changed in July but mechanic forgot to reset the light). The engine burns oil, like a lot - apparently a defective piston rings problem. But I created this thread because now the red airbag light comes on every time I start the car (after about five seconds, at least), and stays on.



Since this started right after I changed the headlight, I'm hoping I didn't screw something up when I removed/reinstalled the front bumper. Research tells me that this could also be a glitch in the airbag module as well. Any ideas? The car is actually shared by several family members, and I'm concerned for their safety if the airbag is disabled...
