Yaris IA OEM Jack Point Adaptor - how is that used?
In my trunk, I have a foam insert around the tire. It has this small black cylindrical tube, with a flanged top and two little "wings" sticking out and down from opposite sides.
#6 in this diagram: Link in-case the pic doesn't work: https://oemparts.stonemttoyota.com/a...8330511.html#6 The owners manual has NOTHING on it but a note that it's called a Jack Point Adaptor... Where's the Jack Point? Who knows! I can't find any kind of service information for the 2017 (which is what I have) or 2018 even for Yaris IA. I know it's a Mazda 2 engine, but none of the diagrams I've found match what my car looks like. :( No one seems to know what to do with it, where it goes, how it works, etc. Yes, I know how to jack up the car with the pinch welds and all, but now this is the principle of the thing. lol Hoping SOMEONE knows how it works... Halp! :) |
