KYB Front Strut Height

I put in a new set of front KYB Street Plus struts last Thursday and the ride height is quite high! I've put about 125 miles on it, but I'm still sitting really high (27 inches from top of fender well to the ground).

Has anyone else had this issue with these struts? If so, how long did it take to settle into a more reasonable height? I'm really not digging how these look / perform at this point in time.

Did some digging around on Reddit and the consensus is around 5k miles before they settle in.
