so they're the l.e.d. ones right? any modification to the wiring or did the wiring fit together? I want to get the smoked ones from him but he said the regular and the smoked ones have a different connector....

I had to hack the connectors off of both sides of my car. It left a little hole in my heart while I was doing so, but that is the price you pay I guess. I spliced them in with bullet connectors.
