it looks great but what from what i've heard it's ABS & the shipping is more than the grille . What i don't like is that the gaps in that grille are very WIDE that will let a rock in to puncture yer Radiator at hiway speeds . grille's are for letting in air to cool engine & to protect the Rad from flying road debris . that grille lets everything in !!

Yes I did some research on this site, this is like a JDM style sport grill. In some listings on eBay, they state that it is for the liftback only not sedan, but most seller do not really know what they are selling. It would be nice if someone can post some pics of this grill installed on a Yaris in US or Canada, so I can confirm this.

I 2nd that about a Metal MESH GRILLE .... both upper & lower for the hatch back !! .. Now if we could get someone to get the MFG people on board they would sell a boatload of them to alot people just on this site alone AND PLUS everyone who is not
The dealers even have aftermarket Metal grilles for the Tundra's & Tacoma's We should start an Email Flood to the after-market parts dealers to get thier butt's in gear on getting a grille made for the Yaris .. you can find a grille for just about every pickup made , with Toyota reported to sell 100,000 Yaris in the US alone this year 08 as reported by MSNBC.com . there is money to be made !!! PLZ a Chrome or a black satin powder coat Grille for me !! Black is where it's at !!! |

Maybe this photo is what you're looking for? This is JDM option for Vitz in Japan.

Well, although the front bumper cover differs slightly between JDM and USDM, I was told the part# is the same for the grill. I haven't confirmed that though.
But, yeah, it would be nice to see some pics of a car here with that chrome grill. Actually, I think it looks pretty bad... no, I mean bad like in not nice at all. |

Sorry for the off topic, but does anyone how can we remove the front grill?

I've found the best method was to pop out the top and sides of the front bar, then use a screwdriver from the outside between the front bar and grill to pop the clips. that's how I did it when I painted mine.

Since nobody else seems to have one, I just took the pluge and bid on it. I'll report back on how it looks/fits once it comes in. I'll probably repaint it body color.
