tein S tech Spring question?
just wanted to make sure the Tien S tech Spring model# NPC91L which is meant for the 07+ Yaris 3drs will work w/ my 2010 Yaris Sedan? I believe its suppose to be a 1.9 inch drop but considering my cars a sedan what do you guys think will be the end result in the drop w/ my heavier sedan? Will I also need to remove my wiper assembly like ive read in the DIY section since mines a sedan? Thanks

First thing's first. The sedan is the lighter of the three Yarii. However, something about it makes it have a lower drop on the same set of springs.
Second, it'll fit. I'm running the S.Tech's. Drop is approximately 2.1" Here what mine looks like on 16" rims with 205/45/16 tires. |

Oh, I have coil spacers/lifter in the rear, so it's raised about 1/2".

Thanks for the response and the pic's, looks nice!!!
I believe tho that the 2.1 drop is for the S tech Springs made for the 5 door, the 3dr Stech springs are suppposebly a 1.9 inch drop! Wondering if there will be a prob using the 3dr springs on my sedan if itll be more of a drop or less of a drop... Did you have to remove you're wipers when you were doing your spring install? Thanks again! |

The box says "3-door only". lol. There's no difference. Also, trust me, the sedan drops like the 5-door, not sure why since the sedan is lighter. I wasn't that knowledgeable when my suspension was installed, but I believe the cowl was removed. Since then, I've became more knowledgeable. lol. I'm installing suspension parts on Si's now. hahahaha

It rides okay. I have the TRD Sportivo shocks. My family and friends (who are not into cars) hate the ride tho. They find it too "bouncy" while I say it could be a little stiffer/firmer. hahahaha
