If it is new, it should peel off easily. I removed the vinyl dealer sticker on the back (individual letters, it was a pain) by just letting the car sit in the sun for a while then just pulling each one off. You may need some Goo-Gone or other cleaner afterward; but it will come right off...

One of the stealerships we went to when we were looking for our Yaris was charging $150 for some cheezy pin-striping! Had we bought a car there, I would've told them to remove it from both the car and the invoice. However, as they were also charging $300 for "undercoating" (useless down here in south Texas), I knew they were just padding the price with these "accessories."

Cheers! M2

Return to the "lame A$$ Dealer" and ask them to remove it.

If it's just tape, you can remove it easily. Just like MadMax posted: Let the car sit in the sun until the body is hot and gently peel it off. And yes, you can certainly use some Goo Gone to remove any excess adhesive left behind. Then apply some wax, remove, and gently buff. You'll never know it had been there! Post some pics.

How about the metal dealer names that are raised just like the word "toyota" or "Yaris"
Any way to get rid of the dealer name?

I would normally say search for it but since the hack....

Leave the car in the sun or use a hair dryer..... get it warm and use dental floss ..... gently saw through the rubber backing and it should come off.....
remove the residue, wax and your done

Another important tool for removing pinstriping/emblems/logos: A hair dryier. I've done it many times.

Goo gone
Hair dryer
Soft rag

Thanks, the dealer added it on w/ out me knowing and tacked on an extra $400 for the striping, and the rubber door guards and the rubber around the wheel wells, I've already removed the rubber, lol and gonna strip the stripe this weekend. I'll post some pics...

(back story) when I test drove it, almost 2 years now, it didn't have that shi+ on there. They didn't bother to tell me till after the paper work was signed. When I was leaving I walked out and noticed it and went back in...I was like... Hey what's that shit on my car??? they said, oh it was added on when we were detailing it. I asked how much and they said $387. I told them it looked like shit and they said well, you should have said you didn't want it....I said, "I didn't know you were going to do all that." Long and a short, they pissed me off...and by the way I HATE AUTOWAY lol
