Remove the left tail light. No I haven't , trying to remove it but it seems its stuck , by some clips holding it by the bumper or that's what I think - removed the two bolts and the side of the tail light but the bottom of the light won't budge and there's no visible screw!

If it is constructed the same as 2006-2011, then there is a pin which is pressure fitted into the body behind the light. It takes a good hard yank straight back on the light to get it out. If you shine a light into the tail light access area within the hatch, you might be able to see a pin coming through the sheet metal.

Maybe those pics of the 2012 tail light parts you had posted up will help you.

Bummer. All the more reason to get those new tails. If not, a little 2-part epoxy would be strong enough to secure the broken bits together.

Take a close look at the connector where the wires enter it. There may be some very, very tiny letters/numbers embossed there. I'm looking at a small connector taken from another area of my car, and that is where the part# is.

Shame. You should get them and test em out. Then you could be the exclusive owner of these.

Interesting. PY21W is what that grey piece in my tail light pic is stamped.

Get some pics up so we can see what you are up against.

Well its not like you would have to sell them. You said that the tails would fit but the connector might not so that would mean if the connector does not fit you just have to custom wire it to fit. Doesn't mean you would have to sell it.
