Looks cleanly done, but not my cup of tea. Will be interesting to see it in the red.

I agree with you guys. It's not for everyone, but its a good way to hide some wires or just add some bling.

Were powder-coating a bunch of different colors and trying some new things out. Since we installed the powder coating machine it's been like art-class when we were fifteen. Just doing all kinds of crazy stuff. You know how it is when you get something new in. Kinda like the first cnc machine you just do all kinds of crazy stuff.

I'm even making another one that contours the oil cap and runs the full length of the valve cover.

Water cutting is fun too!

It's perfectly natural to personalize items with your logo because it increases customer recognition of your company's image. There's nothing more American than product promotion.

^ True, and some people buy things for the logo or brand name alone. I don't buy things when the logo is the main selling point of the product, but that's just me. I'd buy that engine cover if the logo were not so predominantly displayed.

Having the option for one that is rectangular and with the ability for custom cuts would be cool. Could still have the TBR logo on it, just on the driver's front corner for example. Not to sound like an ass, but I bet you would sell a bunch with the Hello Kitty logo done on it.

Here's a well cultivated logo which has become both widely recognized and well thought of over the years...

Another idea would be to have one that would have a snail etched with the saying, "At a Snails Pace" for the boosted folks...haha

^ And aggressively guarded by its corporate lawyers.

I wouldn't manufacture a copy of someone's logo without making a "substantive change" to it (e.g., our skull emblems)
