I've never owend a TPMS equipped vehicle my whole life.. I just go by looking at the tire to judge whether it's flat. Also I have a pressure gauge.

On a slightly related note, all these additions to cars (like theo ne Ford's touting that "detects cars around you with jet fighter technology) I feel are making people less competent drivers. That or conversely people who shouldn't be driving because of their lack fo skill ARE because these things are "allowing" them to. If you can't tell if a car is behind, or to your sides, while you drive and need the car to tell you, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DRIVING.

/rant. Sorry.
