As someone who has had a blitz on one of his three Yaris for the past two years, I can say that it makes the car so much fun, without using much more fuel.
And, with the fact that you can switch it off completely, with the flick of a knob, if you have to do a long trip and want to save money by running 87 octane fuel, you can easily do so. For the $1300 price tag of that used one, you can't even get close to the same result with anything else in that same price range.
