But does the stock ECU have the range to run the blower safely?

When I put a blower on my vfr, I had to add a power commander 5 and auto tune.

So is this just a bolt up without other mods? how much boost have folks run, without blowing stuff up?

And, with the fact that you can switch it off completely, with the flick of a knob, if you have to do a long trip and want to save money by running 87 octane fuel, you can easily do so.

For the $1300 price tag of that used one, you can't even get close to the same result with anything else in that same price range.
