I made a res-back on my other car. Muffler and piping from resonator to the muffler. It was $150. Add the cost of a new res if you're getting one and a couple bucks- about 25 - for the other two or so feet of pipe since you're working from the cat.
If cost is an issue, just do a new muffler and the piping from the res for now. You can always add a higher flowing res later. But having one sized piping the whole way would be the best setup. :) Black Yaris made one I think. Search his setup or send him a pm.
