Fog Lights?

The reason I'm having mine done is I am not comfortable removing the bumper. Besides, I'm having 3 dings taken out while it's in the shop, and am just getting the fogs installed at the same time. I have the Dr. Evil Mentality about lots of things. I will just take the car in and assume that everything will go according to plan!

One less hassle for me.

Dude, there is like 2 wires you plug into one of the harness in an empty slot, in the fuse box under the hood. You don't even have to splice or anything as the wires have the proper connector pins on the ends.

Then you plug a little box into the inside fuse panel called a relay.

After that, you unscrew 3 screws to get at the ignition harness and use a plastic quick connect to tap 2 wires together.

Taking off the bumper is, what, 7 or 8 small bolts?

Take about 30 minutes, max.

Go ahead and pay $1000. How about I come and do it for $500?

Having someone else do it is a good idea. I remember when I did that with my tach, the shop had to run around to a few places trying to find the wiring diagram. So glad I didn't have to figure that out myself.

And you wouldn't need to as ctscott has shown exactly which wires need tapped.
