I'm on the road so I'm away from my book, but wasn't p0012 either the OCV or the camshaft gear? Any other options I'm forgetting? I remember dreading the camshaft gear being the potential problem when I had that code.

With 140000 miles on the clock I'm just going to leave it. It would make more financial sense to drive it until it dies (if it does even) and throw it a new engine when the time comes.
