I cut springs.... on my 73 Celica, in 86. Since then, bought springs.

Back in the day, the only coilovers available were Koni's which were a couple thousand each. You had to know your own custom spring lengths and rates. There was no Eibach, Tein, HKS, Cusco, etc., etc. (not in the US, anyway). Although, Celica owners had it relatively good; there were TRD and Toy Store springs available. I have TRD race springs on my 1979 Celica. Tuners have it so easy, nowdays... |
