I like the comparison shot. The 2018 does look more modern and stylized. The close up of the new "mouth" is pretty cool. I didn't know it had a cool hexagonal pattern. Honestly, I think both cars look great though!

Overall, I'm not a big fan of it. The tail lights remind me of the Corolla hatch / iM; no longer feel unique to the Yaris as they did previously. I also don't like the faux slats on the rear bumper. The entire car feels as though it's been stretched a bit over time; no longer as much of the egg it was in the second gen. Again, getting more and more like the Corolla hatch / iM than I'd prefer. |
