Are you talking about the OEM keyless entry flashing the lights when you lock/unlock the doors?

OK. For the OEM keyless system the ECU controls the light flashing:

(b) Answer-back function:
• The main body ECU receives the door unlock detection switch's ON / OFF signals and uses these signals to confirm if the door control operation has been completed. The main body ECU then outputs the hazard warning light control signals to flash the hazard warning lights as an answer-back indication.

It is considered to be a "customizable parameter", which can be changed by the dealer:

5. WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
Main Body (Main Body ECU)
Display (Item) Default Contents Setting

Hazard Answer Back ON When wireless lock switch on transmitter pressed, illuminates all hazard warning lights once. When unlock switch pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate twice ON / OFF

Wireless Control ON ON /OFF of wireless door lock function ON / OFF

Panic Function ON Operates security alarm when panic switch on transmitter continuously pressed for 1 second ON / OFF

Unlock / 2 Operation ON Function that unlocks driver side door when unlock switch on transmitter is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. if setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock. ON / OFF

Auto Lock Time 30 seconds Time until relocking after unlocking with wireless door lock function 60 seconds / 30 secondss

i dont mind the hazards light flashing its the park light on the headlight that i dont want flashing..i guess i cant just disconnect a wire for it not to flash during panic mode..

reason i dont want that flashing is because im gonna use the park light wire to run my hid and headlight wire run the park light.. so ill have day time running light which is the park light and park light switch will run hid...

In that case, I think you are fine with how it works now. The hazards are the same as the turn signals, so the OEM keyless flashes them, not the parking lights (which most aftermarket keyless systems get wired to).

I just realized that the hazard, turn and paking lights are all the same bulb. So, you can only stop it from flashing when locking/unlocking by:

1. Have the dealer turn off the hazard flash option mentioned above.

2. Snip the wire from the ECU to the flash relay which goes to pin 25 on connector D33 (on the back side of the inside fuse panel). This would be a tough wire to get to and snipping it would have the same effect as #1 (nothing would flash when you lock/unlock).

running the hid using park light wires i cant have it flashing..as far as i know flashing is not good for hid.. so my drl will be that small park light ( swapping headlight wire to parklight) and my head light/hid will be turned on by the park light wire.

but why would you want to swap those wires?

Pm me your email. My toyota mechanic sent me the wiring diagram for the whole headlight + DRL module, i'll forward them to you. Maybe this could help you with configuring your HID's.

Are you running bi-xenon's or just single HID ?

the reason im doing this is because i dont want my hid on the whole time...so shutting drl is out of the question plus that disables the fogs as well.. i do have the wiring diagram..thanks though..

have you tried disconnecting the BLUE wire on the DRL module instead of unplugging the whole thing ?

what i have thought is connecting the ORANGE wire with a relay that will ground it when the handbrake is down... hence turning on the fogs at the same time...

anyways.. i'm sure there are other alternatives than swapping cabling or disabling DRL. i still have to have time to play with all those wires.
