Seeking wheel advice from someone who KNOWS part II...

Nice wheels. Light wheels make for quicker steering, yes? And with 15s you have plenty of tire between the wheel and the rim making damage remote (save running into something).

Not sure about the rules. I guess Yarisworld is changing. Used to be you could argue all you wanted. I think the fellas are getting long in the tooth now.

thanks. quicker steering? the Yaris' steering is lighter then my wallet. :lol:

the 205/55/15 is a lot of side which I like, but nothing can replace being a responsible driver and trying to avoid known shitty streets and or potholes.

Yeah, you're right come to think about it. I have stock 15s. If and when I do upgrade, I'm staying with 15s and will probably get what you have. I like those wheels.

they are sweet.

that pic is the standard 15x7 +35mm with SilkRoad Coils and a 205/55/15.

if you went with the +43mm you wouldn't need the coilovers to fit. :)

currently we're running the Tamago rear hubspacers too, they weren't installed in that picture though.

I'd like to see a pic with the spacers installed. I put custom spacers on my '81 Turbo Volvo and it made a lot of difference in the look. Filled up the fender wheel and got the track on track. heh... Oh, and I forgot to ask: what wheels are those?

I'll be going with the +43s and a mild spring/shock combo. I need to look into Tokiko to see what's up. I'll probably couple them with tanabes. Although, if I decide to go all out, its coil overs all the way with suspension bars to boot. Dunno yet though.

As far as the argument goes, I believe in good sidewall to rim ratios for the street and sane driving - wheel material notwithstanding. I do like forged wheels though. They make a nice noise when you tap 'em with a hammer.

they are Volk Racing RE30s.

Once we get the car back up and running I'll snap a few fresh pics.
