sweet. =] Are you sure radioshack has em though? anddd I was wondering if I could get the liftback switch at a dealership or something.. And if I could, do you know what the part number would be? thanks so much for all your help!

From Radioshack, you could use any normally open push button momentary switch Like this for example (for $2.69 each):

The OEM Liftback one is Toyota Part Number: 84930-52050
You could definitely order it from any Toyota parts department or TRDSparks.com

holy smokes! I just saw the switch is like 47 bucks!

ahh I guess I'll go with the momentary switch.. still, I'll have a designated lock/unlock button! lol thanks. =]
