cutting the piece i ended up scratching off some of the anodizing and i've found that the best fix is just a normal black sharpie

Looks good. I like the thin, smaller mesh like yours better than the larger style.

We used to call the "Portuguese Anodising" at the boatyard. Not to denigrate the Portuguese, but to compliment them on a good fix.

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.

Looks fine, but hard to clean I imagine. Also, how do you direct airflow up and down, and close the vent(s) too? That functionality is totally eliminated. Looks over practicality, for sure. Sorry to appear negative; its just a constructive comment.

i leave them blowing air straight out constantly and have never moved them. it was a sacrifice i was happy to make
