If I just drain the radiator alone. Is it OK?

You won't have completely drained and changed the coolant if you do that.

Why do you want to change the coolant on a new Yaris?

If you just drain the radiator you are probably getting only half the coolant as the other half is still in the engine.
Also curious why the need for a coolant change when the coolant from new should last at least till 50,000 , most people never change it till the car starts overheating at about 180,000 and a new radiator is required.

If it's just a drain and refill (w/ a 50/50 mixture) draining just the radiator is okay. But soon as you start flushing the system you won't be able to get enough straight coolant in the system with just a radiator drain. And the block drain is roughly in the middle of the block...crack open the bolt and fluid will come out of what looks like a little faucet.
