My oem pads are pink with a fissure in one. they are four mos old and I thought it might be defective. Toyata said they were pink because they were over heated. The parts mgr was confused about when I bought them because the were 3/4 worn. They did the right thing and replaced them ,no charge. I'm waiting for my CarboTech brake pads xp8 from MicroImage.Oem pads and lapping dont work well, even for a stock Yaris. How do you clean and lube front brakes?
