I went to my Toyota dealer and they told me that they cannot fix this problem for my sedan because the TSB is for Hatchback only....

Reverse Rattle!
My 2007 Yaris H/B with 200 miles and auto was making a rattle type noise upon cold start-up each and every time I backed out of my driveway. This is what I know (as Glen Beck would say): I popped open the hood and found that there was the edge of one of the light guage metal shrouds (towards the back of the engine close to the firewall) that was very very close to the end of a metal fastener protruding from the firewall. I bend the edge of the stroud just a bit and the noise has since disappeared. I hope this fix helps you boys out!

I can't seem to find any light guage metal shrouds around the engine firewall. PLS help and post some pictures to enlighten me. I've read many posts on rattle and all managed to DIY themself to removed the rattling sound. But i still can't seem to find any auto cable on the firewall upon opening up the hood, some mentioned to jack up the car to do it.
