front grille

Not sure if anyone has done this, or if it's really a good idea, but has anyone completely removed the top grille on the sedan? I think it would look a lot better without it, but I don't wanna remove it if it's going to have any negative side effects. I hear about people not wanting to completely remove the bottom one for fear of debris hitting inside the engine bay, but don't know if it would matter for the top one? any insight/help/suggestions would be appreciated thanks

I've seen that before, but I personally don't like the frame around the mesh, just seems like too much frame for me. I might just try to figure out a way to put just mesh, somehow attach it to the frame just by itself with 3m tape possibly? if/when I get it done, i'll post pictures
