I'm assuming you have full control over ignition events with your engine management. With that, I'd try the OE coils and see if they are sufficient. Coil-on-plug gives a pretty strong spark as it is, might be all you need.

(just hate to see the wheel reinvented until it's been proven to be an unusable wheel)

If that doesn't suffice, I'd look into whether there are any direct swappable Toyota coil units from a boosted Toyota. (assuming they aren't exactly the same parts) When it comes to stuff like this, you simply can't beat OE reliability. (not to mention availability and price)
