When the air is cooler, the air is more dense.
When it is more dense, it has a higher 02 content.
A higher 02 content means the ECU meeters more fuel.

Why do you think a CAI can give a bit more power? It's called a COLD AIR intake.

You are going to burn a bit more gas in the winter and it has little to do with any so-called winter gas.
