The stock Bridgestone Potenzas are pure garbage (not sure if the OP has these or the GoodYears Eagle's (equally crappy). The Bridgestone's are warranted to 40,000 miles.

Oddly enough, the Potenza's are expensive. $101 on Tire Rack. You can get tires that will last twice as long, and perform twice as good for about $60.

Look at the pathetic reviews from owners...

For survey comparison, here's some General Altimax for $67 (which I bought)
and these are rated at 55,000 miles.

I still have OEM tires on the rear. I think I rotated twice since new. I now have 104,000 miles on the rear stock tires. I did a lot of highway miles on them. I got around 60,000 or more on the fronts. The rear tires are close to the wear bars. The Bridgestone are excellent tires. I plan to get another 5k miles on the rear tires then replace with the fuel saver tires.
110,000 miles is hard to beat on the Bridgestones. I ran 32 pounds in the tires. Maybe you ran with too much air in the tires
