Is switching Toyota lOgo to scion logo legal in Ontario Canada ..

Reason I'm asking is cause I got parking ticket but they put scion since I had them replace but I drive a Toyota Yaris curious if I can have them cancel the ticket for not putting Toyota on it! Just don't ask why I switch the logo lol..

The officier made a mistake on the car's brand will not help to dismiss your ticket in Canada... The judge will amend it but you should however take it to court anyway, fight every ticket.

I used to be a by-law enforcement officer in Ontario, I gave roughly 60 parking tickets per day. If it was a small ticket, and not something major like parking in a handicap spot, if you go to court you will most likely win. The officer that issued the ticket will not show up. My boss would never take me off the street to fight a $10 ticket in court when I could be giving out another 60 tickets that day.

He didn't necessarily break the law. He might've parked somewhere that was listed as no parking but was not hindering anybody to run to get something. Don't be so quick to judge..

How else would he get a parking ticket? From following the law?

Isn't parking where it's against the law to park breaking the law?

He broke a parking law, which doesn't have the same connotation as breaking the law.

True, but without getting into a long-winded discussion about the semantics of it all...

He broke the law.

I'm not a lawyer, but it sounds like marcus:
Was accused of breaking a by-law (by the by-law officer)
challenged the accusation
was deemed innocent

First, go look up the definition of a bylaw. It's still a law. You don't have to be a lawyer to understand that, you just have to have the ability to read and comprehend a simple definition.

Secondly, he was found "innocent" due to an act on his part of changing the badging on his vehicle; but the truth of the matter is that he is still guilty of the parking offense he committed.

So I stand by my original statement...

So, illegally parking is not against the law in Canada? And why would anyone issue him a ticket for it if it wasn't?!?
