1.) Go to here: eBay Search.

2.) Type in "yaris shark fin antenna".

I just found 23 of 'em of varying quality and price using those steps.

VG Shark Fin Antenna

I got mine from these guys and they are great. www.visualgarage.com
The first painting to factory paint code 8T0 was a hair off and they re-did it for me no questions asked sending me a new one and had me return the original after I got the replacement. They had me send photo's in three different light conditions; indoor garage, shade and direct sun. From all the feedback on their website I think they usuall get it right the first time.

What year did you pick when ordering (they only go up to 2009--no 2010 or 2011)?

Out of curiosity, why? I keep wanting something to get better reception in my sedan. I always heard a FM antenna should stick up 3 inches above the body. so my windshield antenna seems less than ideal....

As a general rule, shark fin antenna manufacturers warn that they may cause decreased reception compared to a whip style. It's much more of a cosmetic mod than a reception improvement.

What alternatives are there? I really hate the stock on my hatch, it's gigantic. Was thinking something smaller.

A "stubby" antenna...

You can get them from eBay, online...

I snagged an OEM one from a '10 Toyota Matrix. Reception is still fine.

it doesn't give any better reception on the fm, its more on a cosmetic...and i like my top clean and i think it don't look good on my sedan, just my opinion.

Thinking about getting something like that only in the Mitsubishi lancer style where there are 5 or 6 of them in a row towards the back. Kinda like this...

found the lancer style on Ebay just not sure if it'll fit the yaris... any suggestions?

those are not antennas. them there are air flow disruptors... because you
know...that Lancer can't get up and merge into highway traffic without them
