I don't think Chevy knows how gravity works...
![]() 0.4 seconds after that Sonic is dropped out of that plane it's going a measly 8.77 mph... which is not 60 mph by a long shot (1).... Hell, it'd take at least 2.735 seconds to do 0-60. (End nerd rant.) __________________ 1 Gravity Calculations - Earth

![]() Anyway, i was hoping the chute wouldn't open... and that they dropped it over a Chrysler Dealership. Great link on gravity. On a side note, if you dropped it from 1320ft (1/4 mile) it would be a 9 second car. |

guys... when it gets dropped out of the airplane, it's going as fast as the airplane. Right?

![]() I'm pretty sure that they were implying that in free-fall it'd vertically be going 60mph in 0.4 seconds... ...and if that's the case, they are wrong... ![]()

.. and drag. From release point to impact point is called a trajectory, as drag and gravity act on the object. Personally, I like the idea of watching a Chev end its life in such a manner.
