While my Yaris hated me, I found it deeply ironic the driveline took the towing very well. Just take it easy on the inclines and don't forget, brake-fade sneaks up on you really quick!
Just remember, you're risking very, very serious liability issues should something go awry. The Yaris is not rated to tow in the USA, and lawyers will have a field-day with your insurance (as in, good luck ever getting insurance again!) Of course, most Yarii owners in the USA are poor, broke, or cheap, so liability doesn't even equate into the total cost factor of towing. Until of course they lose their shirts then cry the "why me!!!111" sobs. ![]() 800lbs is the limit in Canada, however. ![]() Quote:
