just got done installing but have a quick question... is the heat shield suppose to be put back on the new header?

if we don't put the heat shield back to the megan header, does the heat temperature will kill the engine?

A thin soda can thick heat shield does nothing for the engine, its to help keep the skin on your fingers for retards that feel the need to poke around a hot engine bay without knowing.
