NPT plugs are for the threaded holes in the bottom of the manifold
10" PCV hose is to replace the short factory hose from the head to the manifold (this will be easy to identify when installing, it routes to the middle spout on the manifold) The two outer spouts will re-use the factory hoses. The two bolts, spacers and washers are used to space the radiator hose bracket away from the first intake runner. Let us know if any of this is unclear.

We have some of the same days off - We should meet up and I'll help you install it! (PM me if that's something you want to do) :)

Mr Miles: I'll be working on it most of the day Friday at a friend's place, I'll PM you my number and if you're interested in coming out and taking a look or helping out, it shouldn't be an issue.
I have a question about the thermal gasket, do you install it directly against the head or does there need to be a o-ring gasket between the head and the thermal gasket? From the reading online it looks like I shouldn't need one but I thought I'd ask first. |

^ No, the O-ring goes in the manifold groove (or O-rings on the new mani), the head surface is flat I believe.

^ Thanks, that just about covers it.
Some roughness on the intake side is acceptable, it's smoothness on the exhaust side that is important.

Ok cool. I figured I'd still need the Orings on the manifold, I was just wondering about between the thermal gasket and the head. It looks like people are just installing them flat against the head. Thanks!

Wow! That unit is sooooo much nicer than the Weapon R manifold. Quality pieces are well worth the wait.

Looks great! Pretty sure you're the second automatic to run one and at least one other is running the Injen CAI, looking forward to your feedback after some more driving :)

I can't remeber, do you change over the electronics with the 1zz Throttle body or do you just plug and go faster?

Gooks super, sheck!
Have you driven it yet? And did you need to turn down the 1ZZ idle screw? |

Drove to car wash and back but no freeway yet...due to rush hour...No I didn't adjust idle screw. I actually installed the throttle body about 6 months ago or so

If you installed the 1ZZ 6 months ago and aren't complaining... then it didn't need to be turned down.

First Test
Okay, So I just got done with my first freeway test...and OH MY! The mid and even high range pull is amazing...definitely a noticeable difference...Before I knew it I was up to 95 with ease and before this MOD it took WOT for a bit to get even close...For N/A folks All I have to say is BUY ONE!!! Now, keep in mind I have the following MODS as well... Throttle Body Swap, Weapon R Throttle Controller (Which I always keep on highest setting), Nitto Midpipe (Cat delete), DC Sports Exhaust, DC Headers, Injen CAI, Micro Image Crank Pulley and removed the following weight (Passenger Seat, 60/40Back Seat, Spare Tire Cover). I still need to get my Camcon tuned which is running in bypass mode right now, so I will keep everyone posted on dyno numbers when I get that done. But huge noticeable difference is what i have to say. I am still grinning ear to ear and I was literally laughing uncontrollably while I was driving. Again...BUY THIS!!!
