Guessing at gauge bars and clicking gas nozzles just doesn't cut it. If you want to accurately measure your gas mileage, simply log your distance travelled off the odometer, and how much gas you buy off the pump indicator every time you stop at a station.
Then add up a few of them (not just one) and divide the combined distance by the total amount of gas and then you will know exactly what mileage you are averaging. Anything less is just guessing...
