Hmm well for some reason you can dammage a car just by driving ~5000 miles a year like I do.

If you drive 100k miles a year somehow you get away with it!

not necessarily. If you essentially use your car during weekends only, vs short trips everyday. I think weekends are less damaging.

i put about 2miles on my car every way to/from work, so about 8miles a day total cuz i do it twice a day... talk about engine wear!

I just did a search (for the heck of it - to see what would pop up ) on the DuckDuckGo search engine using the following search terms: 100,000 miles Prius C. I got quite a few hits re the warranty on the hybrid system, but the URL below was also one of the hits.

I found this interesting because the first post outlines a post from PriusChat about a 2009 Prius that the owner retired at 465,000 miles. The owner is a courier in a field related to medicine (I thought about Trini, and the reason for most of his miles) and the owner lives/works in Florida (like Trini). The owner was below Trini's level when it comes to maintenance. I found the results the owner logged to be interesting, and thought others might also find the link interesting.
