Installed a Viper remote start and keyless system on my 2007 Yaris from BestBuy using my employee discount. Viper 4103V + SmartStart GPS Module. Employee cost out door with GeekSquad install was $169 and Viper has a BBY Employee Accomodation of $1 per year of SmartStart/GPS service. Non discount cost would be $400 + Yearly subscription.
When the lights are activated the Yaris thinks you left on your Parking/Headlights. Nothing to worry about. The chime isn't a dealbreaker honestly. The only irritation I have would be the windows roll up too quickly. The Auto window close when pressing lock is an awesome addition, but the Viper keeps pushing for an additional 10 seconds and I'm worried it may burn out my motors. (Returning to GeekSquad to have the timer adjusted, just been too busy to stick to an appointment.) |
