You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

They make these plastic belts, with something conductive in them that hangs under the car. It should fly up when at speed but drop and contact the ground when you stop.

This will definatly take care of static issues. But you have somthing hanging from your car. I would put it up front somewhere where you can't see it so much. The shock happens more to younger people since they hop out of the car without grabbing the frame like my old ass. :) It says it keeps dust from sticking to your car so much.

I think it is a safety feature to make sure you are wide awake to face the world outside.

That strap is a good idea, but I don't think its the car that holds the charge (its already connected to negative battery). Its me. I will often get zapped by touching the ground, or water on the ground.

Carry a metal coat hanger. When exiting the car touch the coat hanger to the ground then get out of car. I also wipe my dash with dryer sheets, dryer sheets in floor board. So far this is helping.

This is just one of those issues we have to live with :(.

A girl was giving me a bit of food she made in a napkin, I got the static shock by touching her hand and dropped it. Boy oh boy, what a day that was.

I'll have to try this. Get it all the time during the Winter.

It's humid here much of the year, but dry enough during the Winter to still get a shock during much of that period.
