I can second that from what I have seen and experienced too. Going crossdrilled, etc on the rotors doesn't really gain you anything and unless mistaken actually will just cause your pads to wear out quicker even if you go with a higher end composition on the pads. xnamerxx is someone you can easily trust on perspective for it too.
