Nice 17s can look pretty good. If you continue to flatten the inner lip over and over until it pulls the fender out then you will push the metal out flatter on the outside. Think of it like a wave with crests and troughs, pushing the lower part of the wave or trough out more would creat a flatter appearance on the outside. I did that with mine but youre right it wont come out PERFECT without body work, its a start though lol
