I would start by checking the connection at the kick panel (driver's side since this is the side that is not working) The door electrical connections are there.
ie, did you yank any wires out of there while plugging your tach to the ODBII connector? |

I was a little rough, but all I did was cut the wire I needed and soldered. Theres no obvious loose electrical connections, any way I can tell specifically which wire?
