I hate to resurrect a year-old thread, but....guess what!
This week I started hearing the same noise the bad throw-out bearing. I know the sound all too well unfortunately. Exactly 1 month from when my warranty expired from the new clutch installed by Toyota in February 2015. Monday night I'm paying a visit to their service dept to complain but I doubt it'll do any good. I've driven it less than 9000 miles and I don't do ANYTHING to cause premature wear on a clutch. They aren't getting another $854.00+++ from me. Even if they decide to fix it with no charge I'm getting rid of this POS. A car with barely 42K on it shouldn't have this problem. |
