Is that the same part number for the fog light relay used in the '07 / '08 LB?

So same physical part? Just want to make sure because when I purchased fog light parts for my '07, I got two of the fog light relays for less than $50. At Toyota Parts Cheap, the price for the relay part number you listed is over $60 for just one.

The one I got before at Toyota Parts cheap can be found by going to:
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214001

Year: 2007
Make: Toyota
Model: Yaris

Electrical -> Electrical Components -> Relay -> Fog lamps

-> Fog lamps - Instrument panel - Instrument panel

What about the stalk / combo switch? Same part, different part numbers as well?

The part number above for the stalk / combo switch costs much more than the stalk / combo switch listed for the '07 / '08.

I will be getting some 08' sedan foglight covers from Garm but once I am done setting up the foglight wiring, I don't want to have to put my bumper back on without the correct shrouds. Can/Do the shrouds get popped on after the bumper is installed? Or, can you pop on the shrouds after the bumper is installed? This way....I can do all the work and if the 08' sedan shrouds don't fit, I can get the correct 09' shrouds and just pop them on. Anybody?

I have an '09 LB. If I buy this kit from Garm: http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...&productId=111 all I would need is the LH & RH shrouds and the OEM stalk from Toyota to make it work?

Scott,
I plan on using the integrated fog light switch on the headlight stalk for total plug and play. Do you happen to know if the 08 sedan covers will fit the 09 LB? If you know for sure....I may as well go ahead and order the right ones now.

Initially, I thought that might be a possibility as well, but no the sedan covers are different than the 09 liftback ones.

They also have the 09 version (84140-52151) for $92.14. Price difference is $15.20. You're the electrical genius... which switch would you use? The TRDsparks item description for the 52150 says 'combo switch w/ fog lamps' but the 52151 description only says 'SWITCH ASSY HEADLAM' so I'm worried it might not be the right one.

I would go with the cheaper one (but I am cheap). The EPC shows 84140-52141 as the no-fog stalk, so you are OK with the 84140-52151.

Thanks for all your help. Now I just need to order the shrouds. Is there a DIY for installing the fogs with the OEM stalk? All I found were DIYs for using the aftermarket switch.

There was a great one before, but I think it was lost.

The DIY for removing the steering wheel and airbag was in the DIY for the leather wrapped steering wheel. Someone else made a separate DIY for installing the new stalk.

Can't find either thread anymore.

Damn. I guess there's no way to recover/repost the DIY? Kinda new to the whole forum thing.

man i got fed up with trying to wire all that stuff so i ended up not even using a switch or relay and wiring them to the parking lights. been working fine ever since. doesnt take a load high enough to hurt anything. toyota switch was 89 and relay was 50, so i saved myself a bit of money

It wasn't difficult to install the fogs. The only part that stressed me out was when I had to pull the ends of the bumper cover outwards so I could place the fog lights into the shrouds.

After that it was as simple as plugging the fog lights into the right pin in the fusebox in the engine bay, plugging the relay in and removing the steering wheel to plug the new stalk in.
