That one is wonderful. Is it the absolute red, or just a random red color? I need to save my pennies.
Speaking of dynos, I wish there was one in my area that I could trust. And no, I am not trusting a dyno that specializes in Mustangs. That one is 45 minutes away. The nearest one that deals with imports is 2 hours away. So annoying.

I've been slammed or else I would have gotten the dyno done by now. I'll try to remember to at least find somebody local if I can't make it up near MI for the comparison. By the time I'm done with work and whatnot it's past closing time.

What. You all expected it. It will eventually come out of the car and get either OD green or black sand pearl to match the body. Could happen as early as tomorrow if the weather holds up.
![]() (confirmed fitment on 2013) gotta do the chip swap on my 1zz TB. it's rev searching >_> once I get my idle issue solved, i'll go investigate the possibilities of a dyno. I think I've got enough little mods to warranty not being stock :p |

Just figured this being such a sought after mod that someone would run out and dyno it with their other mods.
I'll gladly install it and pay for a dyno if the manifold is free :) I just don't have $700 for a part right now, especially when I don't know what the gains will really be with some aftermarket I/H/E. |

@ miles: way to go!
@ captain. LOL. Yeah. Free. Not. I'm sure more dynos will roll in as time goes by. Hopefully yours will be one of them.

Can anybody recommend a place in San Diego, or suggest a particular brand/type/etc dyno shop I should be looking for(maybe a YW "standard" for example) to get similar dyno machines at least...if that matters at all?

I went through those, one is well known(the dyno shop), a couple are not dyno's, one is like 25 miles away and another who knows where. I was more looking for suggestions on dyno type in case there has been a trend as to what dyno make/model people on this forum use...trying to nail down a little consistency if possible. Otherwise I'll just start calling around and go with the cheapest.

I like the Dynojet graphs because they're numerically specific, and not vague like other graphs where you're left guessing at what the gains might be. |

Go with Church's, at least you'll be able to directly compare with 2 other Yarii who are making some good NA numbers.

^ good point, or KT Motors in the Valley here where we did our own dynos on the test car.
There are at least three or four other dynos within five miles as well.

I've had three days off this month between work/military otherwise I would have driven up north already. I'm trying to find some happy medium between the 200 mile journey to where I'd like to go and some random shop that at least uses the same equipment but is close enough to easily get this done in short order...for the good of the community.
What kind of dyno do they use @ KT and Churches?

Churchs uses a Dynapack, so you'll end up with higher numbers but they tend to be more consistent run to run.
