longer 5th gear

Is there outside anywhere a publisher who have a longer 5 th gear for the yaris Ts P1? Or is there any other Toyota gearbox from where the last gear is fiting in the Yaris gearbox? On 190kmh the car has over 5000rpm thats too much

Try fitting larger diameter tires.

outstanding. autobahn. germany. didn't put that together at first. cool.

still i don't think the yaris was meant for high speed autobahn driving. but hey, if you come across a longer 5th more power to you.

Yeah...I've had mine to 100mph before (on a legitimate track)and, um, VERY unstable, at least in stock config.

Try doing it on a lowered suspension and with a rear sway bar. Those problems are a thing of the past for me now.

Mine, on stock suspension, was quite smooth at 115mph or so. El Mirage, so yes, it was legal :) Don't believe it was smooth? I'll look for the video and post it.

Tomato Sweet rex! 1st gen, don't see those around much these days. I'll be working on an 88 HF, and will be pushing to get it to 55-60mpg. Wish me luck!

Tamago Nice way to bring it back to topic ;) Nice tranny.

Yep, a few years ago, while living in Germany I rented an Audi TT for my birthday and drove it 215 km/h on the Autobahn, just to see how it feels. That was the max speed marked on the speedometer anyway and it could have probably gone faster, but I was too chicken I only did it for less than 3 minutes anyway, just so I can check it off my list (drove 215 km/h - check)

Here that isn`t much. My Yaris drive 205 @ GPS testet. But then other cars drive one meter behind you, use the horn, lighthorn, and flashlight. They always drive "buisness class Combis" like Mercedes, Audi, BMW.....

You're right.

The guy flashing his lights behind your car might be my brother :). He always drives soooo fast!! He has 2 Audis these days, one A6 and the little hatchback A3 (?) I think.

To fmicle: I miss Europe too at times.

Huh, whut? 200, no, not me. I'm planning on 280 km/hr (175mph) {rounded figures} or so. But not in the yaris....in my CRX.
