Another Fog light Topic. Please help me. (pics)
Hello fellow Yaris tuners. these couple of days i have been trying to install my fog lights but i have failed. im getting desperate now.
I bought the kit on ebay, and the seller told me that it was a plug and play, but the wires are completely different from the ones that other yaris users have used. i have read and studied the other fog light topics, but im still having problems with the inside wiring. i finished the bumper install, grounding the fog lights, and the wire from fog lights is waiting to be conected. |

from what i can see you have a ugly set up .
lol Blue wire is earth one of the red wires with the spade terminal goes to the power in + on battery or acc the other red wire is power out connects to the fog lights power wire if you want to run it into the Yaris fog light wiring you need the adptor kit Garm sells at Micro Image . |

I think I have the same set of lights, first thing is to give all the connectors a good pull as most aren't crimped on worth a shit. I ran the cable into the cabin by nicking a notch into the grommet under the passenger ( right) side floor and into the console. There is a "knockout" under the parking brake that the switch fits into you need to remove the plate and cut it out with an Xacto knife or similar. I had to do some rearranging of the switch pins as it did not work as it was setup. I'll take a pic of my set up and post it when I get a chance.
I wired the relay to the cig lighter(I only use it for my iPod) BTW The bulbs that came with that setup will last about a month then you'll need to buy good ones! |

If you buy Ray's wiring kit with relay, you won't need to run any wires through the firewall.

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |
