Best event ever! I FINALLY hit my stride this time. Only took six %)*#& months. The tires are shredded a little more than usual after driving so hard, but that's just a sign that self-training in the canyons is paying off. The 4 base runs instead of the usual 3 and the mysteriously appearing 4 free X-runs out of nowhere helped alot. Looks like it may be almost time to move-up to CSM

I tossed-out my post-it notes, so I'll post times when the results are in

You don't need a points card for the Divisional. It is an event based on the SCCA natl rule set, the points card is only for Cal Club Regional points.

1)SCCA style numbering that you are referring to is just a TWO digit numbering system. That's all, really. I'm using 26, instead of 226.
2)Small fee for that decal. Should be available at the event. (I think a couple of small ones too)

I'm not ready for that event. Registered for both days...just not ready!

Just like any other event. If you are not a regular member you will need a weekend membership.

There is not a set number "style". You wont be using the ridiculous Regional numbers, example 842.

The windshield banner is free, and they should be available at the event. You have to buy the SCCA wire wheel logo decal for the front, and the Div decals for the sides, also available at the event.

3.7 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
A. All vehicles must display numbers and class letters on both sides,
which must be readable by Timing & Scoring, Course, and Grid
workers at all times.
B. Only one set of numbers and class letters may be visible while the
vehicle is running.
C. Class shall be represented by the upper-case abbreviated form rather
than be spelled out. Ladies’ classes shall be indicated by the letter
“L” following the class letters. (Example: “BSPL” instead of “B Street
Prepared Ladies”).
D. Numbers and class letters should be positioned next to each other.
All letters and numbers must be on body panels, not on windows.
All numbers and class letters must use the same typeface and the
2010 SCCA NATIONAL SOLO RULES — 39
same color, and this color must provide adequate contrast to the
background color (see Appendix F for examples).
E. Numbers must be a minimum of 8” high with a 1.25” stroke. Class
letters must be a minimum of 4” high with a 0.75” stroke. In all cases,
the height of the class letters must be between 25% and 75% of
the height of the numbers. Stroke width must be at least 10% of the
height (see Appendix F.)
F. The “1” on two-driver cars and the “L” on Ladies class cars are subject
to all of the above requirements with regard to placement, color,
size, and stroke.

H. For National Championship, National Tour, and Divisional competition,
current offi cial SCCA required decals must be displayed on
each side of the vehicle in a prominent location.
For National Championship, National Tour, and Divisional events, one
offi cial SCCA-approved National sponsor identifi cation logo must be
displayed in an upright position, in a prominent location on each side of
the vehicle. Further information is contained in Appendix F.

Yes, you wont have three or four digit numbers at the Divisional - exception is a two driver car, the second driver has a 1 in front of the first drivers number.

The class ID differentiates the duplicate numbers, so the same number can be duplicated in every class. The numbers are typically not done this way at local events just to keep it simple, all the local classes PAX, NOV, SK1/2 etc, would complicate the number/letter system.

And as you may have seen at some local events many people do a very poor job with class letters and numbers. Improper class numbers and letters at a Div/Natl event are grounds for a DNF. Timing and scoring must be able to clearly read all the digits on your car.
