Help me choose
I need some new rubber on my TS.
Currently I have Marangoni Zeta Linea 205/45 16 which are shit until they warm up and shit all the time on wet asphalt. I want to buy Toyo T1R, but can't decide on size: 205/45 16 205/50 16 225/45 16 Rims are 7" wide, ET35. Can someone please write pro and cons on each? Thank you |

Id go with the 205/50, they will give you a good amount of meat and give you enough sidewall that doesnt look like too much tire and will still be flush with the rim.
205/45 is not a bad choice either, but id go that route if you are planing on really lowering the car more to avoid any type of rubbing. 225/45 you will need to roll your fenders definitly. I run 225/50/15 R-comp khumo v700 and i had to roll a good amount of fender and cut a bit of the plastin underneith. Go with these if you want go-cart grip and dont mind sacraficing some body work. I love 225 tires. |
