removing lower dash
hello all, has anyone removed the lower dash on a mk2 [2006] yaris, its the part where the two knobs for the air con and ventilation controls are. Many thanks.

grab and pull (assuming the 2006 and 2007+ are the same)

there are bolts holding the frame that surrounds the AC structure. You can take AC knobs and trims out but to take the surrounding area and the left and right side of the lower dash, you need to reach some screws.
If you pull up and out on the upper dash with the hidden compartments, you may be able to get to the screws. Source: I pulled my whole dash board out, and is currently stilled pulled out :P |
