Wooh. That is way, way too much thump for our tiny cars. But if it suits you, rock on.

Wow, I thought my one 12" was excessive. I am very wrong, apparently. Looks good.

Good stuff OP!

I've got 3x 12's running off of 1200w in my Echo, and if I was any dumber, I'd go bigger.
By dumber I mean worsen the hearing loss I already have lol

I'm sure I could massage a pair of 18's in the back if I really really wanted to.

that's insane. 1 150 watt 10 gave me a constant headache. Had a friend run 4 10's, could here him 1/4 mile away. I think i would die.

Wanna borrow a real amp or two to power those subs?

I can guarantee that you'll have more that 1200 Watts...

1200 speaker level watts is roughly 2300-2600 electric watts (AB class amp) needed to be fed to the amplifier which is 190-216 amperes..

you still sure you can guarantee he can get his "more than 1200 watts"?

You know what...yes you can get more than 1200 Watts out of either of those amplifiers.

I was also being jovial and messing around. Unless I'm missing something in translation with your post, you're trying to bring this down. don't do it. It's not nice.

my point is he would have to carry a diesel generator in his trunk to get his 1200w from one amp .. forget about two or more ))

I must know something you don't...because I can make the amps put out more than 1200 Watts and not even have to worry.

Actually, anyone can. There's no magic juice, I promise.

By your thinking and calculation, ANY A/B class amplifier would have to have said diesel generator to make 1200 Watts. Even the OP's small amp.

I'll ask you, what do you think my total current draw is with all three of those amplifiers?

that doesn't take much with the yaris. when i was running a lightweight battery with the 150 watt amp my alternator desperately wanted to run away.

i sincerely do not care what is the total current draw in your car

laws of physics do not work in some cars .. I've seen that before and prefer not to argue with their owners

Btw I am a big fan of nicely built ab amps.. using this bro (Classic) in my car
